MP Gankanda to be arrested

Police are to arrest MP Dunesh Gankanda following s complaint that the UNP MP had assaulted a person at a hotel in Colpetty Police Spokesman SP Ajith Rohana stated.

The MP was accused of assaulting the person and biting his nose while the victim was left hospitalised following the incident.

Police are conducting further inquiries into the matter.
