Police investigate death of Maldivian national at a Colombo hotel

A special investigation will be conducted into the death of a Maldivian national who fell out of the 18th floor of a five star hotel in Colombo this morning, Police Media Spokesman SP Ajith Rohana stated.

 

The police said that it is still unclear if the death was a suicide, an accident or a murder while it was revealed that there were more Maldivians staying in the room with the victim.

 

Police further revealed that two Sri Lankan women and two Russian women had also come to meet with the victim at the time of his death.
