Govt . to appoint new Chairman for Akuressa PS - Maithripala

The Government has decided to appoint a new Chairman to the Akuressa Pradeshiya Sabha, SLFP General Secretary Maithripala Sirisena said at a press briefing a short while ago. The current Chairman of the Akuressa Pradeshiya Sabha was arrested over allegations of molesting a 14 year old girl in an incident which allegedly took place between March 23 and 30.
