Preference numbers to be issued on July 25

Preference numbers for candidates contesting the upcoming Sabaragamuwa, North-central and Eastern Provincial Council elections will be issued on July 25, says the Election Commissioner’s Office.
Preparing of preference numbers has already commenced on district level and they will be reevaluated at the Election Secretariat, Deputy Commissioner of Elections M M Mohamed said.
Meanwhile a specialized center has been currently set up at the Election Secretariat to receive complaint pertaining to the Provincial Council election.
