Govt. Doctors in the North engage in token strike

The government doctors of all the hospitals in the Northern Province will engage in a token strike today (July 24) in protest of a number of grievances concerning the Jaffna hospital.

 

Dr. Navin De Soyza of the Government Medical Officers Association (GMOA) stated that all doctors will refrain from administering normal treatment to patients in protest.
