Foreigner killed in collision with train

A Chinese woman was killed after being hit by a train near the Bambalapitiya Railway Station this morning, police said.
She was hit by a train traveling from Polgahawela to Ratmalana at around 8.15am today, the Police Spokesman’s Office confirmed.
The body of the 45-year-old Chinese national has been placed at the Colombo National Hospital.
