Repairs on Norochcholai successful

The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) said that the repairs on the Norochcholai power plant were successful.


Vice president of the CEB Anura Wijepala said that the repairs will be completed by August 27. The power generated from the power plant can be added to the national power grid by August 28.


The decision whether to continue the power cuts or not will be taken as well, the Vice President said to Ada Derana. He further stated that the power cuts will continue till August 27
