UPFA candidates dominate preferential votes in Kegalle

Maheepala Herath of the UPFA received the highest number of vote with 84,223 preferential votes for the Kegalle district while Dushmantha Mitrapala (UPFA) got the second highest number of votes with 36,285.

C. Dissanayake also of the UPFA was third with 35,611 votes while UNP candidates Thusitha Wijemanne and Sujith Perera received 25,923 and 23,814 votes respectively.
