Students arrested for pelting stones at train

Four students have been arrested for pelting stones at a Kandy-bound intercity express train.

The train which was arriving from Colombo was pelted with stones between Rambukkana and Kadigamuwa railway stations recently.

Rambukkana Police had launched an investigation into the attack and had arrested four students.

The 11-year-old students had come near the rail track after school and pelted stones at the train as a habit, police said.
