UPDATE: Oil leak near the Orugodawatta flyover

A massive fuel leak from an underground oil pipe has been reported in the Orugodawatta area, the Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminals Limited (CPSTL) confirmed. 

CPC bowsers have been deployed to collect the discharged fuel.

The crowd which gathered in the area began to collect the fuel which has been reported to be jet engine fuel, a reported stated.

The supply of fuel from the port of Kolonnawa through the underground pipes has been temporarily stopped due to the leakage, the CPC stated.
