VIDEO: BASL approves 8 proposals on impeachment

The Bar Association of Sri Lanka (BASL), during a special committee meeting held this morning, has approved eight proposals suggesting methods of action to be taken regarding the impeachment motion brought against the Chief Justice.
Members of the association had put forwards amendments to the proposals presented to the General Meeting, which in turn had sparked heated debates over the amendments, Ada Derana reporter said.
However, in the end the proposals were approved with amendments.
