Special exam for O/L students affected by weather

Steps have been taken conduct a special exam for those who were unable to sit for the G.C.E. Ordinary Level examination yesterday and today due to adverse weather conditions, the Commissioner General of Examinations W.M. N. J. Pushpakumara said.

The Ministry of Education had earlier instructed the exams chief to take necessary action regarding students who were unable to attend the examinations due to prevailing inclement weather in several parts of the island.

Education Minister Bandula Gunawardena had said that information has been received that certain candidates were unable to provide answers for the Mathematics question paper yesterday.
