Philippine national killed in ship at Colombo Port

A 37 year old Philippine national was found killed in a Taiwan ship which was anchored in the Colombo Port, the Colombo Harbour Police said. Police added that it is believed that the killing had taken place during a clash between the sailors.

 

The victim was found dead with severe cut injuries. Six Philippine nationals who are alleged to have committed the murder have fled the ship and the Colombo Harbour Police are conducting investigations.
