TNA meeting in Kilinochchi attacked

A group of individuals attacked a meeting held at the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) office in Kilinochchi this morning which was attended by several parliamentarians, TNA MP Suresh Premachandran told Ada Derana.

He stated that the meeting was held at MP S. Sridharan’s office in Kilinochchi and that apart from him it was attended by MPs M. A. Sumanthiran, Mavai Senathirajah, E. Saravanabhavan and several other party members.

MP Saravanabhavan said that 13 persons injured in the attack are receiving treatment at the Kilinochchi Hospital and that several others who received minor injuries were discharged after being treated.
