Six arrested over Pepiliyana attack remanded

The six suspects arrested in connection to the recent attack on a clothing store in Pepiliyana have been remanded until April 02 by the Nugegoda Acting Magistrate Tissa Wijeratne.

Police said a Millionaire businessman is among the suspects arrested over incident, which took place on Thursday (28) when a violent mob had stoned and later set fire to a store and warehouse, causing severe damage to property and injuring at least three people in the process.
