Journos should prevent incidents before reporting them - Charitha Herath

There should be a mutual agreement between all media organizations regarding media ethics, says the Secretary to the Ministry of Mass Media and Information, Dr Charitha Herath.

He stated that media personnel need to prevent certain occurrence from happening before reporting on them.

Dr Herath made these comments speaking on the manner in which certain media organizations had reported the self-immolation attempt by a Buddhist monk in Kandy yesterday.
