Galle Road has been closed for traffic from Kollupitiya towards Colombo due to a protest march by Buddhist monks, Ada Derana reporter said.
The protest is organized by the ‘Sinhala Ravaya’ Buddhist group, demanding that the government put a stop to cattle slaughter in the wake of a Buddhist monk immolating himself in Kandy on Friday.
