SLC to conduct inquiry into drunken player incident

Sri Lanka Cricket will conduct an inquiry based on the Managers Report into the incident involving an Sri Lanka A-team cricketer attempting to open a plane door during a flight to London.

 

The SLC stated that it was disappointed to hear of the incident and that disciplinary action will be taken on the player if he is found guilty.

 

SLC statement:

Further to the Media reports relating to an incident that took place today involving a Sri Lankan Player, Sri Lanka Cricket wishes to announce that it is disappointed to hear of such an incident & SLC will discuss with the Manager of Sri Lanka ‘A’  Team.


An inquiry will be conducted based on the Managers Report and disciplinary action will be taken on the player concerned if found guilty.
