No intention of joining govt - Dayasiri

A special discussion between United National Party (UNP) leader Ranil Wickramasinghe and Kurunegala District MP Dayasiri Jayasekara was held last evening at party headquarters – Sirikotha.

Several topics including the upcoming Provincial Council election and obtaining the assistance of senior party members to win it were extensively discussed during the talks  

Rumors of the UNP firebrand MP crossing over to the government were also brought up during the meeting, to which Jayasekara had reportedly assured that he has no intention of leaving the UNP and joining the government.

General Secretary of the major opposition party, Tissa Attanayake had also participated in the discussion.
