VIDEO: Malaka Silva hospitalised after being attacked

Malaka Silva, son of Public Relations and Public Affairs Minister Mervyn Silva, has been admitted to the Nawaloka hospital following an attack at the car park of a popular clothing store in Town Hall, Colombo.

He was allegedly attacked with a sharp object and was rushed to hospital soon afterwards.

Hospital sources say Malaka had sustained several injuries to his face and therefore will be subject to an x-ray scan.

Investigations have been launched under the supervision of to Superintendents of Police (SPs).
