Anuradha Jayaratna of the United People’s Freedom Alliance has received 107,644 preference votes – the highest in the Kandy District while UNP candidate Azath Sally secured only 55,385 votes.


UPFA:
Anuradha Jayaratna – 107,644
Sarath Ekanayake – 70,174

UNP:
Azath Sally – 55,385
J. Abdeen – 45,752
