A re-poll will only be called for Puttalam if the court issues an order, Elections Commissioner Mahinda Deshapriya said today. He added that he had informed the Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration and Home Affairs to carry out an investigation into the conduct of the elections officers of the disputed polling stations.

Deshapriya claimed that the ballot paper incident by no means impacts the final results in Puttalam.
