CAA finds 13.5 tonnes of hidden milk powder in Welisara factory

The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) found 13.5 tonnes of hidden milk powder stocks at a prominent milk powder factory in Welisara.

 

The milk powder stocks were hidden away instead of being released into the market, Gampaha District CAA chief Ranjith Weerawardena told Ada Derana.

 

The authorities also found 540 milk powder (25g) boxes during the raid.
