Kalutara District UNP Parliamentarian Palitha Thewarapperuma and the Opposition Leader of the Walallawita Pradeshiya Sabha Dilip Pitigala have launched a protest fast in front of the Baduraliya Hospital today.
They are demanding that the Baduraliya Hospital, which is currently closed down, be reopened by authorities.
A protest is also to be staged at the same location with the participation of residents in the area later today, Ada Derana reporter said.
