VIDEO: Wellampitiya police OIC arrested; investigations under way

Investigations are being carried out regarding the Wellampitiya Police OIC in connection to a drug-related offence.
The suspect Police OIC was arrested last night (December 31) by the Colombo Crimes Division where he is currently being held, the police Media Spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana stated.
He was arrested for possessing drugs.
Court issued a detention order on the OIC for seven days in order for the suspect to be questioned.
