Vass and son ordered to handover passports

The Colombo Magistrate’s Court today ordered former DIG Vass Gunawardena and his son Ravindu Gunawardena to handover their passport to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID).  

The former DIG in charge of Western Province (North) and his son, who are chief suspects in the murder of Bambalapitiya-based businessman Mohamed Siyam, were ordered to hand over their passports by the Colombo Additional Magistrate Chandima Liyanage, when the case was taken up today.
