More fake currency notes found

More fake notes worth Rs. 2.1 million found from the house of the suspect arrested by the CID yesterday over the fake note case, Police spokesman said today.


Dulanjalee Premadasa, sister of UNP MP Sajith Premadasa was questioned by the CID after depositing fake notes worth Rs. 2 million at a private bank in Colombo 7, police stated.


The person who allegedly provided her with the fake Rs.5000 notes had later been arrested by the CID and was questioned.
