2014 PC polls: Kalutara District final result

The UPFA has topped the party votes list in the Kalutara District with 337,924 votes in total while the UNP has secured only 144,924 votes, according to the district’s final results. The Democratic Party has obtained 43,685 votes while the JVP received 25,366 votes.
The results give the UPFA 13 seats and the UNP 5 seats, both down 1 seat from the previous election result. Those 2 seats have been obtained by the DP while the JVP has managed to retain its 1 seat in the Kalutara District.
In the Panadura polling division, the UPFA received 37,690 votes while the UNP received 21,558 votes. The DP obtained 6,694 voted and the JVP 4,110.
The UPFA secured 44,988 votes in the Horana polling division while the UNP managed just 14,948 votes. The DP received 5,315 vote and the JVP got 3,949.
In the Mathugama polling division, the UPFA received 38,792 votes while UNP received 17,101 votes. The DP got 5,997 votes while the JVP received 2,593 votes.
In the Bulathsinhala polling division, the UPFA received 33,226 votes while the UNP received 11,357 votes. The DP and JVP received 2,631 and 1,455 votes each.
The Kalutara polling division saw the UPFA receive 38,777 votes, the UNP receive 21,639 votes while the DP and JVP received 5,275 and 3,851 votes respectively.
In the Beruwala polling division, the UPFA received 39,715 votes while the UNP received24,615 votes as the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) received the third highest votes with 4,868. The DP and JVP received 3,283 and 2,664 votes respectively.
The UPFA managed to secure 54,019 votes in the Bandaragama polling division while the UNP managed 16,087 votes. The DP and the JVP received 8,997 and 3,768 votes each.
In the Agalawatta polling division the UPFA received 39,488 votes as the UNP, DP and JVP received 14,840 votes, 3,171 votes and 2,003 votes respectively.
Meanwhile the results for the Kalutara District postal voting were 11,229 votes for the UPFA, 2,779 for the UNP, 2,322 for the Democratic Party and 973 for the JVP.
