Two dead, 5 injured after three-wheeler and jeep collide

Two persons including an elderly woman were killed and another 5 persons were wounded after a three-wheeler collided with a jeep near the Ohalpala junction on the Narammala-Kuliyapitiya road.

The injured have been admitted to the Kuliyapitiya Hospital.

Police said that the deceased, a 90-year-old woman and a 50-year-old man, and the wounded persons were traveling in the three-wheeler.
 
The driver of the jeep has been arrested over the incident.
