Fire breaks out at polythene factory in Homagama

A major fire has broken out at a polythene manufacturing factory in the Katuwana Industrial Park, Homagama this morning.

The Police Spokesman’s Office stated that the fire had erupted at around 10.15am today and that it has cause damages to the machinery inside the factory.

Homagama Police and residents in the area are currently attempting to douse the flames.
