Philippine Honorary Consulate in Sri Lanka closed

The Philippine Embassy in Bangladesh which has jurisdiction over Sri Lanka says that the office of the Philippine Honorary Consul in Sri Lanka has been temporarily closed.

The Philippine Embassy in Bangladesh says that those who would apply for Philippine visa are advised to check the Philippine Bureau of Immigration’s website, www.immigration.gov.ph under the section VISA – SPECIAL VISAS – VISA UPON ARRIVAL for the procedures, requirements and eligibility of the visa applicant to apply for the visa-upon-arrival, or through coordinating office of the applicant in Manila for the pre-arranged visa.

It says that the Philippine visa applicants in Sri Lanka may also apply personally at the Philippine Embassy in Dhaka, Bangladesh by sending through e-mail, philemb2@aknetbd.com, ATTN: Visa Section, the following documents in PDF form for pre-processing of application.
