Shashindra Rajapaksa took oaths as the Chief Minister of the Uva Province before President Mahinda Rajapaksa a short while ago at the Presidential Secretariat.
Shashindra Rajapaksa received the highest number of preferential votes 96,619 from the UPFA at the Uva Provincial Council election contesting for Monaragala District last Saturday’s election.
