MoDUD to conduct survey on displaced persons in North

The Ministry of Defence and Urban Development is about to conduct a survey on Sinhalese, Tamils and Muslims who lost their properties and land in the Northern Province from 1980 due to terrorist activities, the Ministry stated in a press release.
According to the release, All Sri Lankan citizens who have lost their property and land are requested to submit details and forward such information to the Defence and Urban Development Ministry at 15/5, Baladaksha Mawatha, Colombo 3.
The detail report should be included the name, address, telephone, email address, Grama Seva division, Divisional Secretary’s Division and the district of the complainant. the details of the land such as address, names of the occupants, year of displacement and the photocopies of the supporting documents too can be included.
The release added that complaints from property/land issues settled will not be accepted.
