Thundershowers over the island during the afternoon and night

The Met. Dept. says that showers or thundershowers will occur over most parts of the island particularly during the afternoonand night. Heavy falls (more than 100mm) are also likely at some places.
Thundershowers during the afternoonand night in Colombo, Galle, Anuradhapura, Mannar, Ratnapura, Kandy and Nuwara Eliya.
Thundershowers during the afternoon or evening in Jaffna, Batticaloa and Trincomalee.
Max.Temperature of 32 °C from Anuradhapura, Rathnapura.
Min. temperature of 12 °C is from Nuwara Eliya.
There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. Public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize the damages caused by lightning activities.
