Eight including five Indian nationals sentenced to death

The Colombo High Court today (30) sentenced to death eight persons including five Indian Nationals for smuggling drugs in guise of fishing in Northern seas.
The judgment was delivered by High Court Judge Preethi Padman Surasena.
The accused were indicted for smuggling drug into the country through trawlers in guise of fishing.
