A.H.M. Azwer resigns from Parliament

UPFA National List MP A.H.M. Azwer has resigned from Parliament today.

Speaking to Ada Derana, the Secretary General of Parliament Dhammika Dasanayake stated that Azwer tendered his resignation a short while ago.

Azwer is a member of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) which nominated him on its National List to the Sri Lankan Parliament in 2010.
