Warrants issued on two ruling party politicians

The Pelmadulla Magistrate today issued an arrest warrant on Deputy Minister Premalal Jayasekara over his alleged involvement in connection with a shooting incident at a venue of election rally of the Common Candidate in Kahawatta, Ratnapura.

Meanwhile, the Bandarawela Magistrate too issued an arrest warrant on Uva Provincial Council Minister Senthil Thondaman.

The Magistrate ordered to produce the Minister before court on or before 26 January for allegedly assaulting an a person in Ella area on 3 January.
