Body found washed ashore on Roomassala beach

The Habaraduwa Police are trying to identify an individual whose body was found washed ashore on Roomassala beach, this morning.

The reason behind the death is still unknown, however, the police are investigating to ascertain whether this was a homicide or a suicide victim.

According to the police, the body was found in a highly decomposed state. The body has been sent to the Karapitiya Teaching hospital for the post-mortem examination.
