Bike hits compound wall, three killed

Police in Embilipitiya are investigating the deaths of three individuals who were killed after their over loaded bike crashed in to a wall in Galwanguwa area, wee hours of this morning.

The preliminary police investigations have revealed that the three individuals were under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.

Officers with the Embilipitiya police say the victims were pronounced dead upon their admission to the Embilipitiya Base hospital.

The post-mortem of the deceased aged two 19-year-olds, and a 21-year-old will be performed today.
