North Western PC Minister Nishantha Perera arrested

North Western Provincial Council Minister Sanath Nishantha Perera has been arrested following an alleged election violence incident, the police said.

The Minister was wanted in connection with an attack on an election office of the United National Party (UNP) in Andigama area.

The suspect will be produced before a Magistrate, today.
