Mini Budget before Parliament tomorrow

The mini budget will be presented by the Finance Minister in Parliament tomorrow (29) and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe is also due to make a brief statement on this.

The mini Budget to be presented in Parliament on Thursday will ensure easing the tax burden on consumers and certain proposals to reduce the prices of 10 essential commodities, Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake said.

It will also proposes to increase the salaries of public servants.
