Attanayake remanded until 11 Feb

Former United National Party (UNP) General Secretary Tissa Attanayake was remanded by the Fort Magistrate’s Court until 11 February, a short while ago.

Attanayake was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), this afternoon, over reports that he displayed an alleged secret agreement letter said to have signed between President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe.
