Bus strike on Tangalle-Colombo route

Private buses operating on the Tangalle-Colombo route have resorted to a strike action since this morning, President of the Lanka Private Bus Owners Association Gemunu Wijerathne said.

Wijerathne told Ada Derana the bus drivers have decided to resort the trade union action as several unauthorized route permits have been issued for the E01 Southern-Expressway.
