Robbery at financial institution in Rawatawatta

Two unidentified men entered a financial institution in the Rawatawatta area in Moratuwa today and stole an unconfirmed sum of money, police said.

The suspects had arrived on a motorcycle and carried out the robbery at around 2.35pm today, according to the police media unit. They were reportedly wearing open-faced helmets. 

The actual total of cash stolen by the suspect is yet to be ascertained.
