Qatar Emir arrives today, special traffic plan in Colombo

The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani has arrived in the island today (24).

The Emir has arrived here as a part of his tour of Asian nations.

During the visit he is expected to hold talks with leaders on ways to enhance cooperation and strengthen bilateral ties between the two nations.

A special traffic plan will also be implemented today in view of the Emir’s visit from the Colombo entrance of the Katunayake - Colombo Expressway, Baseline Road, Borella, Horton Place, Galle Road from Kollupitiya to Galle Face Green.
