Priyantha Sirisena’s cremation takes place today

The cremation of Priyantha Sirisena, 43, will take place at the Public Cemetery, Polonnaruwa today (30).
Priyantha also called “Weli Raju,” is a businessman predominantly engaged in sand mining. He is a younger brother of President Maithripala Sirisena.
He who lived at Laksha Uyana, Polonnaruwa was allegedly attacked with an axe by a friend on Thursday night following an argument. He was rushed to the Polonnaruwa Hospital and later airlifted to Colombo in a critical condition where he succumbed to injuries.
