Mother, daughter killed after three-wheeler falls into precipice

Two persons from the same family died after a three-wheeler fell down a 300-foot precipice in the Wanaraja area on the Bogawantalawa-Hatton.

Police said that a 70-year-old woman and her 48-year-old daughter died in the accident which also injured two other persons. They have been admitted to the Dikoya Base Hospital.

The driver of the three-wheeler losing control due to speeding had resulted in the crash, police said.
