Indian held at BIA with gold worth Rs 17 million

An Indian national has been arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake with gold worth nearly Rs 17 million.

Sri Lanka Customs said that a 25-year-old Indian man was arrested for the possession of 34 gold biscuits weighing over 3kg and worth nearly Rs 17 million.
