The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) will not extend its support to pass the draft bill on the 19th Amendment as it does not include the electoral reforms, Vijitha Herath MP said quoting the Opposition Leader.

The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) on 8 April announced that the party will comply with the government to pass the amendment, if constitutional changes take place for new electoral reforms.

Former Minister and SLFP General Secretary Anura Priyadarshana Yapa pointed out that the government attempts to pass the 19th Amendment without the new election system.
