FCID summons Johnston Fernando

The Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) has summoned former Minister Johnston Fernando to record a statement over allegations of financial frauds against him, a short while ago.


The statement will be recorded from Fernando on alleged financial misappropriations in the Lanka Sathosa Ltd.
  

The ex-Minister of Internal Trade and Cooperatives was also called to appear before the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption to declare his assets on March 6.
